The main challenge we faced in the project was to create an innovative application that would allow customers to customize and configure their cars in an interactive and engaging way. Configuring a vehicle is a crucial moment for customers, as they want to choose every detail according to their preferences and needs.

However, the traditional car configuration process can present clear limitations in terms of engagement and product perception. Static visualization does not allow for a complete understanding of the available variants or the final aesthetic impact.

The introduction of augmented reality technologies for vehicle configuration enables an immersive experience capable of improving product understanding and supporting more informed purchasing decisions.

THE SOLUTION

AR configurator for automotive: real-time interaction and customization.

To address this challenge, our team focused on developing an Augmented Reality (AR) application capable of offering a completely new and engaging Audi vehicle configuration experience.

The “AUDI – AR CONFIGURATOR” allows customers to explore every aspect of their vehicle, from the bodywork to the interior, through a detailed 360-degree view.

With this solution, customers can personalize their vehicle according to their preferences by selecting colors, interiors, accessories, and much more, all through a simple touch on their device’s screen. In addition, the application features dynamic animations that allow users to clearly and accurately visualize functionalities such as the sunroof and other dynamic elements of the vehicle.

Another key strength of the “AUDI – AR CONFIGURATOR” is the ability to share customized configurations on social media, allowing customers to showcase their creativity. This feature not only increases customer engagement, but also helps promote the Audi brand across online platforms.
