Product 3D Animation
Product 3D animation is a video that shows an object’s design, details and operation using CAD files, drawings or digital models. It can present internal components and products that have not yet been manufactured, for websites, e-commerce and sales presentations.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR PRODUCTThe cost depends on duration, modelling, materials and number of scenes. We define the quote after reviewing the files and storyboard.
Formats, resolution, audio and revisions are agreed within the project.
Show what a photograph cannot explain.
An exploded view, a section or a moving component can make a complex product easier to understand. We select what to show and the level of detail for the audience: purchasing teams, sales networks or end customers.
This service is part of our 3D animation for businesses. For scientific explanations of devices and procedures, choose medical 3D animation (Italian page); for a campaign with a creative concept and brand narrative, choose 3D advertising videos (Italian page). For exhibition screens and continuous playback, explore 3D animation for trade shows.

One product, different ways to tell its story.
We agree on the sequences that serve the message and the intended channels before production begins.
Details and materials
Close-up shots highlight finishes, shapes, packaging and product features.
Operation and assembly
Movements, sections and exploded views explain components, interactions and assembly steps.
Launch and sales
Versions for websites, product pages, presentations and campaigns, with agreed aspect ratios and duration.
From the product to a moving sequence.
The video already on this page is an example of product animation. The images from the Piaggio Vespa EICMA project, shown further down, demonstrate how shapes, colours and camera angles can build a consistent visual language.

We confirm objectives, scenes and approval stages before rendering. A preview allows us to discuss movement and pacing; product changes after approval are assessed against the agreed scope.
Brief and materials
We review CAD files, drawings, photographs, audience, channels and preferred date.
Storyboard
We define what to show, scene order, text and planned duration.
Model and animation
We prepare geometry and materials and create a preview of the movements.
Shared review
We collect feedback at the agreed stages and confirm the scenes.
Rendering and delivery
We finalise images, editing and versions for the intended uses.
The product remains at the centre of the scene.

Electric Vespa
A side view makes the vehicle’s shape, materials and proportions clear.

Yellow Vespa
A different colour presented within a consistent graphic environment.
Questions about product 3D animation.
Can I create the video without a physical product?
Yes. We can start from CAD files, technical drawings or a documented concept. Before starting, we check which details are final and which require reconstruction or confirmation.
Which materials should I provide?
CAD files or 3D models, dimensioned drawings, photographs, material references and information about operation. If there is no model, we assess modelling from the available references.
Can I use the video before launch?
Yes. The video can present a product still in development for pre-launch activities, order collection or partner meetings. The features shown must be confirmed by the product representative before delivery.
Where can I use the video?
On websites, e-commerce product pages, in sales presentations and campaigns. For exhibition stands and LED walls, we also define distance readability, continuous looping and understanding without audio.
How long does production take?
The schedule is agreed after reviewing the materials and storyboard. Duration, movement complexity, number of scenes and approval times affect the delivery date.
Which formats and revisions are included?
The quote specifies resolution, aspect ratios, duration, audio track and any subtitles, together with review stages. Additional adaptations or product changes are agreed before finalisation.

Do you have a product to explain or present?
Describe the object, how it works and who will watch the video. Tell us about available materials, channels, approximate duration and preferred date: together we will define scenes and scope.
Tell us what you want to show.
In your message, include the product, available files and intended use of the video.
