Toyota | MIRAI 2025 Event
The Event
At an automotive industry event held on October 9, 2025, at the MIRAI auditorium, Loto Studios collaborated with a leading Italian agency, which has been Toyota’s communications partner for many years, to produce innovative digital content for the presentation of three new hybrid models.
Loto Studios was chosen to create original content, produced in a very short time frame, making the most of the potential of generative artificial intelligence. The project was carried out side by side with a multidisciplinary team, where the synergy between strategy, creatives, art direction, and artificial intelligence made it possible to achieve results worthy of an event of national importance.
The Challenge
Two objectives, one AI-driven pipeline
The project had a dual objective. On one hand, to create an emotional video showcasing the historical evolution of the three key models — AYGO, CH-R, and RAV4 — through dynamic transformations, using an AI-driven pipeline capable of blending real images into coherent and captivating morphing sequences.
On the other hand, to produce an original commercial introducing the three new trims in a contemporary way, leveraging the power of artificial intelligence to bring to life three representative customer personas and narrate the vehicles through their unique perspectives.
Everything had to be completed within a short timeframe while maintaining a high visual standard and perfect narrative consistency, optimized for projection on large-scale screens in a scenographically impactful event setting.
The Solution
AI Commercial Video
The commercial was born from a clear creative and technical challenge: to produce a complete advertising piece — from visual concept to final output — entirely through a next-generation generative AI pipeline. Every element, from the characters’ faces to the environments, was created without physical sets or traditional filming.
The three protagonists embody distinct targets of the new range, portrayed through an interwoven narrative that alternates dynamic sequences, direct-to-camera dialogues, and emotional moments. The rhythm follows that of a branded short film, designed for event projection but with the agility of modern digital formats.
At its core lies a technical workflow integrating AI models for:
• facial generation and consistency across scenes
• environment reconstruction aligned with the brand’s visual tone
• compositing, editing, and video upscaling for large-format projection
The entire project demonstrates how artificial intelligence can now drive complex productions — not as mere support, but as the creative core — enabling speed, scalability, and complete control over narrative identity. It marks a paradigm shift in the production of video content for events, commercials, and corporate communication.

The Solution
Video Heritage: Morphing AI between past and future
For each model presented (AYGO, CHR, RAV4), we created a 30–40-second video in which four historic generations of the car transform into one another through an AI-based sequence of progressive morphing.
Pipeline stages:
- Cleaning and validation of the provided photographic material
Data labeling and training of the AI morphing model
Compositing and smooth transitions between vehicles

The result? Evocative videos that are technically complex yet visually effortless to watch — perfectly suited to showcasing the evolution of style and performance in each model.
AYGO
In the video dedicated to the Toyota Aygo, we follow the stylistic evolution of the model from 2005 to the latest 2025 generation. Each stage is marked by a smooth transition between the different versions of the vehicle, highlighting how the design has changed in response to new urban needs, becoming increasingly bold and technologically advanced.Through the use of generative AI, it was possible to harmonize non-uniform photographic and video materials, creating a continuous and coherent sequence that enhances the lines and proportions from one model to the next — even without any 3D assets.
CH-R
The CH-R video tells the story of a bold and decisive transformation, beginning with the first 2014 model and evolving into the innovative 2023 design. AI-driven transitions allow viewers to observe each evolution with precision, as if watching a single sculpture in motion.
The morphing system was trained to maintain consistent proportions, perspectives, and key details across different models, ensuring a realistic visual output even when generated entirely from photographic sources. It stands as a clear example of how AI can visually narrate a decade of evolution in just a few seconds.
RAV 4
The RAV4 has spanned three decades of innovation. In this video, AI takes us on a visual journey from 1994 to the 2025 model. From the boxy shapes of the 1990s to the dynamic and sophisticated profile of the latest generation, each transformation unfolds smoothly and naturally.
Artificial intelligence made it possible to reconstruct the curves of each model, blending heterogeneous photographic images into a single continuous transformation. The result is an emotional narrative that highlights the brand’s consistency and evolution over time.
A highly innovative project
The entire project was designed to respond to a new market need: to produce highly dynamic, personalized, and optimized content while maintaining a high level of perceived quality. AI technologies are no longer a support, but a central creative tool in the production process.
